So, it's been overcast and raining since we arrived in Dillingham. Today, that strange, burning globe in the sky decided to make an appearance. We are going to go out and take some more pictures of the surrounding area while the sun is out. We are seeing mountains we didn't know existed until now, and we hope to capture them before they duck behind the clouds again.
We probably won't be posting again until tomorrow, though. The internet was out again yesterday, so we couldn't update yesterday. You take the internet for granted until you don't have it anymore. A middle-of-the-road connection speed here is 128K/sec. Think twice as fast as dial-up. Yep. The internet around here is rushing headlong into the 1990's.
